Hi

I'm off to Weymouth on holiday next week.
I quite fancy slipping away for a few hours and fishing,

Anybody know a decent place to float fish nearby? Either a productive stretch of river or fishery within 15 mins drive?

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

My mate thinks you can fish Radipole Lake in the centre of Weymouth bu I'm not sure.
I've not fished it but hear good reports of Osmington Mills Fishery which is to the east of Weymouth . Just follow the A352 to Osmington and turn right down Mills Road. The fishery is on your left.
We'll be down in Swanage the week after, lets hope the weather holds up.

i havnt been to weymouth for a few years but you can fish radipole lake its only 5mins walk from the seafront.
also if you want some fun you could go for mullet in the harbour
or you could use the carp rods & go off the pleasure pier i used to have some nice bass on eve/ early morning tides as well as mackeral. there used to be 2 tackle shops in weymouth one as you go through town go over the bridge turn left & its on the right hand side. the other one is down one of the roads near the station that run parralel to the lake.

tight lines.
