Has anyone got a home draw this year? . In our 3rd year of trying we failed yet again.

my club are strongly considering droping out of the event. We have a good history in the event and last year we made the northern final at Lindholm.
We are annoyed because last year they held the northern event at Lindholm. As my team are 2 hours (there was also a team from scotland!!)or so from the venue it was almost impossible to organise a practice (due to work commitments) we also found it hard to enter the open matches as not every match was held on the match lakes to be used for the event!
In the end we turned up anyway and got properly beaten due to a vast majority of teams coming from the same area as lindholm and them knowing the venue like the back of their hands!!
This year AT have decided to have the northern final even further south down at Halcroft.....is this not in the midlands (nottingham)?????
I think it is fair to say that us proper "opp noorff" teams are beginning to find this event to costly and quite unfair as it is getting harder and harder for us to get down to practice. |

| our club(jacobs ac) got a home draw, but weve drawn against willaston ac a very good club indeed, especially on canals and in a local winter league, so i can imagine it will be a very hard match |

| brummie 76 or anyone if you have to go to lindholme in future just phone neil the owner he and his wife are top people. he would have put a match on the lake of your choice if it was at all possible, and believe me he would move heaven and earth to make it possible. i do agree with most of the posts re venue,s for semi,s they must use NFA guidelines and put them anywhere but where they should be |

| My team have been drawn away again. We (Royal Mail Northampton) have managed only 1 home draw since the Supercup began. Thats a lot of away draws over the years. |
