Quote from the bottom of the CLS club website:

“Day Tickets are, with effect from the 1st April 2004, under the control of Chester-le-Street Council. The Club has agreed with Chester-le-Street Council that they will sell Day Tickets for the Park Stretch and any Club members still have the right to fish the Park Stretch as normal. Those people who are not Club members will require a day ticket to fish the Park Stretch. Tickets are available from the Riverside Leisure Centre which is located at the far side of the Durham Cricket ground.”
I assume they’d amend the site if the day ticket arrangement had changed had changed, but:
1. The date was awhile ago.
2. Chester-le-Street Council no longer exists and its responsibilities have been taken over by Durham County Council
