I have some skrettings micro's which are fine, the last 4mm's that I brought turned to mush even after a brief wetting.
Luckily we have an animal feed place pretty near to where I do most of my fishing.
Rather than risk a dodgy sack load I get mine a few kilos at a time. Still far cheaper than from a tackle shop. Next time I get some good 4mm ones, I'll go back on the way home home and grab a load more..

Still learning.

A few Years ago I phoned to ask if I could get any with the formula that was on the bag of feed pellets and expanders at the office in
Northwich,

After speaking to a young girl I was put on to a chap that told Me they make pellets purely as fish feed and not for anglers,

He was a bit abrupt and did'nt really want to talk, at the time I thought to Myself that He may be an anti.

I buy Mine from Grahams in Rushden,

Expanders...16 . 25kg
Coarse......26 . 25kg
Halibut.....35 . 25kg
Trout Elite.37 . 25kg

I've had to use some of the last batches for groundbait/paste as they just turn to mush very quickly.

Graham actually sold the business as a going concern to a firm based in Rotherham, not closed down to lack of business mate. think after 12+ years he fancied a change of direction so to speak.
as to postage why not try taking a 25kg sack into the post office and see what the postage is, l expect its a lot more than 8
as to AA Baits my young mate Matt is quite often in the Warrington area so he is more than happy to collect stuff from them for himself and I :)

Not in my tackle shop they're not. Micro's a less than half the size of the 2mm pellets.

Yes, I know you can get smaller pellets but when most people refer to micros and fisheries sell micros, they are 2.3mm!

I've always referred to 2.3mm as micros; anything smaller is dust, or groundbait

Alex Bones' comparison wasn't a fair one, magisine content is writted by profeshionals, proove red & editted Forum contributions are clearly unchecked & often made by people who bunked off school to go fishing. I'm proud to be a literary bacteria

Guessing that Browner meant aren't, not are. There are pellets smaller than 2mms (I think sold under the Fin Perfect brand, and others), and I guess that people who use them call those micros & the 2mms that most refer to as micros are 2mms to them?

the coarse Micro pellets that GP Pellets sold were a mixture of very small sizes not just the same 2.3 version etc, and also various shades of brown.
just hoping that l can find another supplier of these when my stock is depleted.

Has anyone found a supplier around Manchester, I believe Skrettings have places at Preston & Northwich, but don't know if you can purchase from there.
