FUND RAISER
SATURDAY 9th APRIL
2011
I've got a match booked at ROLFS LAKE on Saturday 9th April and I’m going to run it as a MDs Fund Raiser which will be open to ALL be you a Site Supporter or not.
Cost is £21 broke down as follows
£7 peg fee
£7 pools
£7 donation to MDs Running costs
Any monies left over from peg fees will be added to the donation.
Pools will be paid via sections (numbers of sections and amount dependant on numbers fishing)
Draw 9.30am
Fish 11am to 4pm
There will be a MAX of 38 pegs and if this number is reached then a reserves list will be started.
Dont forget this is about raising funds more than any thing else but is also a chance for those that have wanted to fish Rolfs to have a go.
Due to possible numbers fishing it will be POLE ONLY.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
I have decided NOT to collect the peg fee up front but will collect all monies on the day.
I've decided to do it this way as at the moment we are having problems with post arriving to us and it will also save me having cheques all over the place.
Hopefully this is okay with everyone.

As an extra i'll also run a £1 a go guess the winning weight sheet on the day with half the money going to the person that guesses the nearest or correct winning weight and the other half of the money going to the MDs FUND.
If you could also bring along a prize or 2 i'll also be running a raffle on the day with all funds also going to the MDs FUND.

Simon Either you want to fish or you dont. Either way it's YOUR choice so stop with the negative poo as it is really getting boring..
Well said Malc. Like you I am fed up with the same kind of negative comments from the same site members.
If Dave has sold the site the match can still be held and a charity can benefit. Macmillans nurses and Help for Heroes are good charities to support. |

Thanks Malc. Just viewed the fishery rules and have a couple of questions
If that's ok?
What is a "carp type" keep net?
I have 2 cheap margin poles, do these have the " carp power" top 2s
requested in the rules?
Sorry to be a pain but my budget is tight so I want to avoid taking a place if I can't fish on the day

Margin poles are fine, and don't worry about nets as the fishery supplies keepnets and landing nets. |
