Put the meat thru the squres blade 1st and then thru the slicer, you may find that as you get near the last bit it goes very difficult to push thru, however pull pusher back out and push thru gaian and it will go thru OK, same with the slicer blade push tru slowly, then pull back out and go again. Only problem i have with it, is that the slicer blade keeps breaking, took it back to shop twice now and exchanged blades, apparently MAP know there is a fault with the 4mm size, but not with the 6/8/10mm......according to Stapley Water gardens......anyways.
