Squatt can be used in a couple of different ways.

Mixed into groundbait it provides some free offerings that will not be as filling to the fish as larger baits like pinkie & maggot but still hold the fish's interest. Then fish maggot, pinkie or squatt over the top. Try all three as it is the fish that will decide which is best on the day. Fish anything from four inches off the bottom to nine inches overdepth.

Normally a method for the top or bottom of the far shelf, fish squatt on the hook at dead depth or just off bottom to start and fire a few squatt over the top with a catapult. This has to be regular feeding - every 30 seconds. The idea is to keep a constant fall of bait through the water. Start at the bottom of the shelf and if you stop catching switch to the top. Don't worry about feeding the top of the shelf specifically, the few squatt that overshoot will do that. Go up to four inches overdepth if you are not catching or if you are catching gudgeon and not roach.

Trickling in squatt or pinkie by your keepnet is usually a back up plan for the occasional perch. Who has told you that your insurance will increase, if your insurance is due then yes it will increase while matter is resolved but you can then claim the increase back. If it affects your work then take time off, if you dont get paid then also put a claim in for loss of earnings. If the other party admits liability then don't accept their offer ask your insurance company to provide costs and offer of right off (it will be better than those given by 3rd party). What was wrong with the old drive?? could it be read?? Did it just not load windows?
Have you got a back up of the database? Floppy? Pen Drive? How much data are you talking about if you have to re-key everything?
There are different methods of trying to rescue your database depending on the above answers and how technical you are with computers.
cheapest and quick option to start with would be to download open office.org3 it's free and comes with a database called base, if you have a backup then try open the backup files with base and see if it works, if it does fine, if not you havn't paid out

Mick, I used to fish the loop off the main river Loddon in the late 70 s.near winnersh.Was told a year ago it is near imposible to fish now as it is all over grown,it was fantastic for barbel and had some very large roach. Those were the days.
