Hi all,

Following the huge success of the Nick Clark Memorial Match 2012, (for photos of the 2012 event – see
http://www.leeds-laptop-repairs.co.uk/leeds-laptop-computer-repairs/nick-clark-charity-fishing-match-07-07-12/ ) the family and I have decided to make this an annual event, and have booked Oasis Lake again for Saturday 06/07/2013.

We will follow the same format as 2012, in that we will fish from 1000-1300 hours, take a break for a bbq and tombola, and fish again from 1400-1700 hours. Match costs will again be £17.00 “all in”.

Following the match we will have the presentation and main raffle, and I will think on for any forms of other after-match entertainment (open to suggestions ……comedians, quiz etc….).

The event will be 50 pegs + 4 novices again, as this format seemed to work well this year, and catches didn’t seem adversely effected with the number of anglers on the lake.

Each angler will be requested to raise a minimum of £25.00 in sponsor money again, as this year, and hopefully, some of the fantastic sums will be raised again.

I would like to give recognition to Shogun 969, who outstripped everyone else by a long way in 2012, and to Hicko1, Dave Webster, Mark Lyne, Freemason, and Eckey1972, who all raised well over £100 each. Fantastic effort lads.

Naturally, priority will be given to those who supported us so well this year.

With all this in mind, I will run 2 lists of names, 1 for definites from last year’s match (list 1), and a reserve list of those who would like to fish 2013 for the first time (list 2).

Any spaces left in list 1 will be filled on a first come first served basis from list 2.

So come on lads and lasses, get yer names down …………….. the weather might even be better than this year’s
