Coleman's Cottage Fishery Is a purpose built fishery set in open countryside in Little Braxted, near Witham, Essex on the bank of the River Blackwater. 
The Fishery comprises of Five lakes, Copse Lake, Pathfield Lake, Wood Lake, Stepfield and Cottage Lake and a section of the River Blackwater,
A wide and varied fish stocks include an abundance of Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Barbel, Crucian Carp, Chub, Gudgeon, and Pike (in the river only).
All the lakes are fishable on a day ticket, which is available at the lake, however it is recommended that you contact the fishery in advance to ensure availability. 
The lakes are also available for club and match bookings and for corporate events etc.

Hooks Marsh is situated in the Lea Valley and has become famous for its tench fishing, with double figure specimens becoming more and more commonplace. Mixed species of fish are present with large concentrations of roach easily found. There are some carp in the water but it is not known as a carp water. A five lake complex set in the peaceful Wakering countryside in the South East corner of Essex. This idilic Essex coarse fishery was established over 25 years ago, growing from the origional members lake, it now boasts 162 swims offering something for everyone.
Each lake has its own unique character, and moods, which always keeps the angler guessing what they will catch next. A 3 acre lake that was excavated approximately 35 years ago. It is now surrounded by mature weeping willows,firs and rushes. There are 24 fishable swims on the lake  offering excellent 
coarse fishing facilities.
