The Microsoft FrontPage® 2000 Web site creation and management tool provided almost everything needed to create and manage this site, with the addition of the latest in JavaScript, ASP, CGI & DHTML technology. The idea behind it's creation is to provide a meeting place and source of information for the Coarse Angler. A majority of Anglers belong to Fishing Clubs of various sizes from the small Works or Pub section to the larger Associations; this site enables them to have a communal meeting place whereupon they can meet friends, old and new, share information and generally have a laugh. Plus have at their finger tips a ready source of relative information. The design was based on practicality and backwards compatibility, to bring true power and interactivity with total ease of use. The site currently consists of thousands of pages, numerous support files and countless images and is expected to incur steady growth with the emphasis on ease of management. It is further supported by four MySql Databases and several Microsoft Access Databases. | |||
